Studio

I am in the studio right now... and it feels so right.

I was on mini-tour / vacation last week... and it felt so right.

I will be enjoying Chipotle about two hours from now... and it will feel so right.

In short: I can't complain right now.

I take that back, what is up with the Kars 4 Kids radio advertisements? They've got what they wanted, here I am blogging about it. Any promo is good promo, right? But seriously, I can't handle that song even one more time in my life. Within the very first 1/2 second of that first piano note I've already changed the station, but I still feel like I've lost the battle having heard it at all. Good cause aside, I really hate that song. If I'm in bad traffic, it's ten times worse.

Listening to an egg shaker,
Mark

Hi..I don't know if you actually read your comments, but I didn't know how else to contact you. I am here to ask for a favor. I am not a fan, but a girl that I care a lot about loved your band Spitalfield. Her birthday is coming up this weekend (5/16) and the last birthday present I gave her was a failure. So I have taken up a difficult, maybe impossible, task of The Greatest Birthday Surprise Ever; which entails having some of her favorite bands calling her or even just texting her a happy birthday message. I realize that your band has broken up, but she still list it as her favorite. I know it is quite pretentious of me to assume you have any free time in your busy schedule, but I hope you can do a poor guy a favor and of course I will compensate you for any inconvenience that you might encounter. If you are interested please email: bestbirthdaysurpriseever@gmail.com Sorry, this might seem like a scam for not giving you my real email. I would give you my real email but she might troll your blog so its safer. Thank you in advance if you take up my offer.

Hi, this is the birthday surprise guy. Sorry to keep high-jacking your blog, but its the only way I can contact you since I haven't gotten a reply by email. Was wondering if you were still up to make the phone call? Since you are the only musician to reply to my request, its a do or die depending on your decision. Thanks.

i was so sad when i went to the spitalfield farewell show because i worried that i'd never see you again.. or worse, never hear new music from you again. i'm so happy to know you're recording. the thing that always stood out about you was that you have remained genuine and passionate about music since day one, and that's a rare and amazing thing to see these days. you probably inspire a lot of people.. and if not.. well.. uh.. at least you inspired this one! good luck with everything, mark.
